Danielle Mortell is a student in The Dietitian Editor Volunteer Program and Mentorship [Fall 2023]. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Following her graduation in December 2024, she will pursue a Master's in Nutrition while completing her dietetic internship. As a future-RD, Danielle intends to work full time as an entrepreneur. A private practice would be her ultimate goal, along with sharing evidence-based nutrition information through social media. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.
